BB2 & Maryborough Brass
A Thrilling Afternoon of Music!
What a fantastic afternoon we had on Sunday, when BB2 joined forces with Maryborough Brass for a memorable concert in Maryborough! Held at The Salvation Army, the event featured a fantastic selection of pieces, including Singin' in the Rain, Breezin’ Down Broadway, The Nearness of You (featuring Tyler Jones-Brennan on trombone), an ABBA medley, and Evening Prayer from Hansel and Gretel.
In addition to our performance, Maryborough Brass presented their States Program, giving the audience a sneak peek of their competition set as they prepared for the Queensland Brass Band Championships taking place this weekend, at the Brolga Theatre in Maryborough. Their performance was a great showcase of the hard work and dedication they’ve put into their program, and we wish them all the best in the upcoming competition!
The collaboration between BB2 and Maryborough Brass was a true highlight, with both bands delivering a thrilling afternoon of music.
