Brisbane Brass Adds a British Touch to the All British Car Show

The 2024 All British Car Show, held on Sunday 15th September, was a standout event for car enthusiasts, and one of its highlights was the performance by Brisbane Brass. The band, playing traditional British brass music, captivated the crowd, adding a special charm to the event.

Frankling Greet, a long-time attendee, shared how his wife was particularly moved by the band’s traditional British style, reminiscent of the colliery bands she’d heard growing up in the UK. She was transported back to her youth, recalling the British “Whit Friday” brass band traditions. "It absolutely made our day," Frankling said, noting that his wife is already planning to return next year to enjoy both the cars and the music.

The MG Car Club of Queensland was equally pleased with the event’s success. "We’d love to have Brisbane Brass back next year," said Matt Johnson from the club. It's clear that the band's performance was a perfect addition to the car show, and attendees are already looking forward to next year’s event.

For anyone who missed it, make sure to mark your calendars for next September. Whether you're there for the cars or the music, the All British Car Show is an event not to be missed!
