BB2's Performance at Brisbane City Hall

A Showcase of Talent by BB2

On Sunday, 24th November, BB2 Band performed at the iconic Brisbane City Hall as part of the Bands in Parks Program. Conducted by Ed Kennedy, the concert featured a vibrant mix of music, including Starburst by Dan Price, Higgy Jig (a tenor horn solo featuring the talented Laura Hjortshoj-Haller), Rhythm & Blues by Philip Sparke, the classic The Melody Shop, and Bugler’s Holiday, featuring three cornet stars—Brandon Ivers, Jason Stock, and Michael Buchanan.

The performance was a fantastic opportunity for the band to showcase their talent in the grand setting of Brisbane City Hall. The event was made possible by Brisbane Metro Bands, Brisbane City Council, and Brisbane City Hall, whose support helps bring live music to the community through the Bands in Parks Program.
