A Tribute to a Founding Member and Inspirational Musician

It is with a heavy heart that Brisbane Brass shares the news of the passing of Mr Cliff Nichols at the age of 96.

Cliff was a founding member of our association, an exceptional euphonium player and an inspirational musician. Throughout his long life, he made a lasting impression on all that knew him. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man who loved being involved with his family and all their endeavours and was always interested in what was happening in the banding world. The Brisbane Brass Association extends our sincere condolences to his family and friends. We also wish to acknowledge his life of service to banding and in particular, Brisbane Brass.

The banding world is dimmer today with the loss of such an extraordinary individual. Rest in peace Cliff.
